Illustrations
The illustrations are mostly created using Procreate, while some others were drawn using traditional methods
"In her own stillness"
This illustration series captures women in their raw or peaceful states, moments where they are fully present, unfiltered, and immersed in their own inner landscapes.
Inspired by the quiet power of solitude and self-connection, these images reflect my personal fascination with women who appear completely absorbed in their own worlds.
There is a intentional blur between the real and the imagined further deepens the idea of being in her own world, a space that’s not always bound by logic, but shaped by emotion, memory, and introspection.
Movie illustration series
These illustrations capture some of my favorite moments or compositions from movies I love.
The contrast
These two illustrations were created at very different emotional points in time. One reflects a period marked by body dysmorphia and low self-esteem—a time when I felt disconnected from myself. The other captures a moment of euphoria, when I felt confident, radiant, and completely free from the limitations I feel from this physical body.
Proportions Inverted
"Proportions Inverted" is a series where I stepped outside my usual style to experiment with softer pastel tones and a different visual approach. Inspired by the traditional Ukiyo-e art style, this exploration was a fresh and unfamiliar experience at first—it didn’t quite feel like my own. But through the process, it opened up new ways of thinking about form, color, and expression.
Pattern tile design inspired by my visit to Singapore.
The assignment brief was to design a pattern that personally captures the essence of Singapore. I created a tile pattern inspired by the elements that caught my eye the most during my visit—details that felt uniquely memorable and reflective of my experience there.

DECODING MODESTY : "The Ruler"
Objective :
To visually and conceptually communicate how religious attire for women across different faiths symbolizes modesty, respect, and identity while critically questioning how these codes are shaped by patriarchal standards.
This project explores the semiotics of modesty as imposed through religious dress codes, particularly for women, across various faiths including Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, and Sikhism.
Each tradition assigns symbolic meanings to specific garments such as hijabs, veils, saree pallus, or tichels signifying modesty, respect, cultural identity, marital status, or spiritual discipline.
These norms, often shaped and enforced by patriarchal interpretations, reflect how modesty is culturally constructed and gendered. While male attire also holds spiritual significance, female dress is more strictly codified and policed.

Concept art
For this assignment, we were asked to combine two randomly chosen words. Mine were capybara and vodka. After three rounds of iteration, I developed a concept featuring a whimsical date scene where two capybaras are drinking vodka together in the middle of a forest.

Art style recreation
For this assignment, we were tasked with creating a "food attack" scene in the style of a renowned artist. I chose Emily May Reah and illustrated how she might have approached and visualized this chaotic, food-filled moment through her distinctive artistic lens. i tried various iterations with the colors after digitally recreating the canvas.
