These are the works i did during my college for the modules fiction and documentary
"Aegam (One-ness)"- Fiction film
The film talks about a woman's life which has been robbed by the harsh realities of patriarchy, who has been pushed into a corner—a small circle—unwillingly into the constitution of a marriage. She, like everyone, is young and fierce, filled with dreams. What happens when she meets herself at a younger stage? What kind of emotions does she go through? Is it guilt? What emotions would the younger self go through? Is it betrayal? Is it losing all hope or deciding to push through even then?
The complex emotions faced by both parties are what I tried to explore. The film follows a non-linear narrative which blurs the line between what is reality and what is not. It can also be understood as them being separate individuals who are at different stages of life.

Assignment Brief: The brief was to explore a public space and document it
For this project, I took Ranganathan Street, the busiest shopping street in Chennai. At first, I simply explored the space and took in the essence of the place. What I found interesting was the children's world in this kind of busy environment—how they latch onto their parents to avoid getting lost.
I focused on observing the mannerisms of the people there and captured gestures performed by them that were interesting to me. "The title Disappearing Footsteps" refers to how hundreds of people walk on that street every day, but not one of them is remembered or imprinted.
